Well now, I'm back on the East Coast. Not exactly living in Washington DC, I'm a teensy bit more north on the border of DC and Maryland, but technically, I'm in Maryland. It's lovely up here. No rude people, no sirens going off every few minutes, it's great... will never ever again live in downtown DC. I miss home though, but I'm not at all sad or depressed like I was back in January. It feels different now. My mind is telling me that I'm not going to be here for a while, like I'm only visiting or something, even though that's not true.

I need to buy furniture. I'm sitting here on the floor with my laptop. I so need a desk... and a dresser. I should get off the computer now 'cause my back is hurtin'.
